The DeiC eScience Competence Center invites everyone—irrespective of academic area, competencies or university affiliation—who is interested in eScience/digital humanities, to register on the national experience exchange network ‘eScience Danmark’. The purpose of this network is to initiate both the practical exchange of experience concerning the roll-out of eScience, and knowledge sharing with the emphasis on the use by researchers of digitally based research methods.

DeiC invites you to give a presentation at the DeiC Conference 2016. The theme of this year’s conference is “New roads to eScience”.
The DeiC conference is the Danish annual event for anyone working with networks, high performance computing, or data management – in short, everyone who works with e-infastructure.
The Conference is taking place in Kolding the 4th and 5th of October 2016.

In order to expand the use of eScience to a broad spectrum of research areas, DeiC in cooperation with the University of Southern Denmark has established a national supercomputing center at the university in the city of Odense. The supercomputer is called Abacus 2.0.
DeiC will hold its annual conference on October 4-5, 2016 at Comwell Kolding.
